MARS DS (hereinafter, the “Group”) establishes the following privacy policy, builds a system for the protection of personal information, and promotes the protection of personal information by ensuring that all employees recognize the importance of and thoroughly implement measures for protecting personal information.

The Group will keep customers’ personal information accurate and up to date, and will implement necessary measures such as maintaining security systems, establishing a management framework, and thoroughly educating employees to prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, alteration, or leakage of personal information. We will implement safety measures and strictly manage personal information.

 

Purpose of Use of Personal Information

 

Personal information entrusted to us by customers will be used for communications from the Group, guidance on our operations, and responses to inquiries, including sending emails and materials.

 

Prohibition on Disclosure/Entrustment to Third Parties

 

The Group will appropriately manage personal information entrusted by customers and will not disclose personal information to third parties except in any of the following cases:

 

• When the customer’s consent has been obtained.

• When disclosure is made to a contractor to whom the Group entrusts operations in order to provide services requested by the customer.

• When non-payment or similar circumstances occur and, after a certain period, there is no response to notices from the Group or from a payment company affiliated with the Group (including disclosure to the referrer through whom the application was made under a referral program and to credit information agencies).

• When disclosure is required pursuant to laws and regulations.

 

Security Measures for Personal Information

 

To ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, the Group implements thorough security measures.

 

Requests by the Individual

 

If a customer wishes to inquire about, correct, or delete their own personal information, we will respond after confirming the customer’s identity.

 

Compliance with Laws/Regulations and Review

 

With respect to personal information held by the Group, we comply with applicable Japanese laws and other standards, and we will review the content of this policy as appropriate and strive for continual improvement.

 

Consent to Use of Personal Information

 

At the time of application for each service, customers consent to the above and additionally acknowledge that, regardless of the reason, the Company shall bear no liability for compensation for damages arising from any leakage of information.

当グループは、お客さまの個人情報を正確かつ最新の状態に保ち、個人情報への不正アクセス・紛失・破損・改ざん・漏洩などを防止するため、セキュリティシステムの維持・管理体制の整備・社員教育の徹底等の必要な措置を講じ、安全対策を実施し個人情報の厳重な管理を行ないます。

お客さまからお預かりした個人情報は、当グループからのご連絡や業務のご案内やご質問に対する回答として、電子メールや資料のご送付に利用いたします。

個人情報の第三者への開示・委託の禁止

当グループは、お客さまよりお預かりした個人情報を適切に管理し、次のいずれかに該当する場合を除き、個人情報を第三者に開示いたしません。

• お客さまが希望されるサービスを行なうために当グループが業務を委託する業者に対して開示する場合

• 不払いなどが発生し、一定の期間当グループまたは当グループ提携決済会社の通知に対し反応がない場合（紹介制度を通してお申し込みされた紹介元様、また信用情報機関などへの情報開示）

• 法令に基づき開示することが必要である場合

ご本人の照会

お客さまがご本人の個人情報の照会・修正・削除などをご希望される場合には、ご本人であることを確認の上、対応させていただきます。

 

法令、規範の遵守と見直し

当グループは、保有する個人情報に関して適用される日本の法令、その他規範を遵守するとともに、本ポリシーの内容を適宜見直し、その改善に努めます。

各サービスの申し込み時の時点でこちらの上記の内容に加え、情報の漏洩に伴う賠償責任などはいかなる理由があろうとも弊社は負えないものとすることを同意します。
